MUSICAL PROGRAMS
The
Distinguished Artists Concerts, Music Under the Stars, (including a Children’s
Festival and Safety Day and a Salute to America), the Children’s Magical Music
and More Series, and the Children’s Summer Performing Arts Series present free
musical programs for general audiences throughout the year. Performances are
held at local schools, libraries and, during the summer, at community parks
and beaches. Brochures listing seasonal performances are available from CAPA.
In December of each year, the Town’s Annual Holiday Concert is presented for
three evening and one matinee performances at the Tilles Center on the C.W.
Post Campus of Long Island University.
ROTATIONAL ART EXHIBIT PROGRAM
The Rotational Art Exhibit Program offers area artists and crafts people an
opportunity to display their work in libraries, banks and businesses
throughout the Town of Oyster Bay. Juried Art Shows, co-sponsored by CAPA in
conjunction with the Suburban Art League and the Independent Art Society offer
local artists a venue to display their work and to compete with other artists.
